Getting back into the groove

Over the Christmas period admittedly I’ve not done much. Of course I have, as normal, updated FootballTransfers.co.uk, but otherwise not much developing has gone on. I have tonight though finally got round to working on the .com domain of the actor I mentioned a few days back. I don’t really have too much experience working on actor fan sites, so not sure what to include. I’ve so far created a profile and factfile, and am currently working on the filmography. I have someone writing a biography, as that would just take too much time for me to do. I’m hoping to get the site completed in the next few days, as with the transfer window opening, it could be mayhem!

Some good news is that one of the .info domains I registered the other day has some traffic! After four days it has had 45 unique visitors. Where the traffic is coming I don’t know, but so far none have been of the ‘clicking kind’. The funny thing is that I offered the domain to someone looking for holiday domains and soon after I noticed the traffic, my first instinct was to retract the offer, but luckily I didn’t have to, as the person never got back to me. So I’ll now keep an eye on the domain for a while before considering what to do with it, obviously development is something that would interest me greatly.

Still RegisterFly’s support sucks big time! They’ve yet to get back to me over the the failed registration. I guess I should have expected this kind of shoddy service. Same goes for Sedo, still the auto domain sale has yet to be completed. I don’t care what time of year it is, transactions shouldn’t be held up because of Christmas or whatever holiday! They should, in my opinion, halve their commission for this ridiculous delay!

Don’t forget a lot of coupons expire tonight, so if you’re planning on registering some domains, make sure you get them done before Big Ben chimes, oh and of course, happy new year!
