Earlier today I spent $20 listing the sale of footballtransfers.info on SitePoint.com’s marketplace. Has it been worth it? Well so far 338 page views and zero offers. So nope.

A few days back listed the site on various other webmaster forums. Most interest came via DigitalPoint. There were some offers, unfortunately the offers were of the silly kind, for example, someone thought it would be fun to offer $100 for the site. Do people realise how stupid they look when they do this? I guess not.

I also had an offer from someone who thought they’d use the 10 months revenue system to value footballtransfers.info. Not smart either, especially when you consider the site is 10 years old.

Anyhow, there’s been more enquiries today via the website itself, where I made known that the site was for sale. Hopefully something will come of it.

Someone asked a few days back about what goals I have for this year, and well, I could only think of one.

Admittedly, I don’t think too far in advance, as well, you never know what can happen.

My first and only response was to sell my main website, FootballTransfers.info. I’d been thinking about it for a month or so, and finally took the plunge and listed it for sale late Christmas Day.

The reason for sale varies - I’ve been running it for nearly ten years and basically now I think it’s time to move on.

My next goals would depend on what happens with the above - if I sell then I’d complete my half finished projects, plus work on other developments that I’ve yet to start.

I also need to take stock on all my domains and websites and see if any need offloading.

Something that I want to do is take a vacation. I sort of took one in November, but as it was freezing, that didn’t count!

Well that’s all I can think of at present, I’m sure there’s plenty of aims and targets that appear during the year. Hopefully 2008 will be fun as well as being successful!
