Something that is becoming annoying is spam from someone claiming to want to buy advertising on my websites.

I will be very thankful to you if you give me some prices for the following ads:

1) text link on your homepage/all pages
2) text box ad 120×60, 125×125 on homepage/all pages

I’ve received quite a few e-mails and they’re all the same, including the sender’s name ‘Richard Thompson’. The only thing different is the ‘from’ and ‘reply-to’ e-mail addresses.

What the purpose from these e-mails are only one can only guess, but it’s most likely to be something of a scam. So if you receive one of these mails, best just delete it and forget about it.
