FootballTransfers.info rebuilding

Posted by Stevio in My Network on March 28th, 2008

After failing to sell FootballTransfers.info, there was no way I was going to let the site die, so the last few weeks I’ve been concentrating on redeveloping the site.

At the point of writing, I’ve got tons of new ideas for the site, and have already redesigned it. I’m currently rebuilding all the pages and attempting to optimise them.

At present I’m not sure when it’ll be done, but I’d like the new design to be online next month. Following that, I will get a coder in to build new features.

So the future for FootballTransfers.info is looking good.

Football Wallpaper site bought and redeveloped

Posted by Stevio in My Network on March 13th, 2008

This week any web developments have taken a back seat while I plan the redevelopment of FootballTransfers.info. I decided to redevelop after not getting any decent offers for the site. I’ve put a notice on the website asking for ideas on how to improve the site and they’ve started to come in.

Last week, I did manage to redevelop a site I bought a few weeks earlier. The site is FootballWallpaper.info. As you can guess, it’s a football wallpaper site with high quality wallpapers.

The site should go well with the football wallpapers site I bought a few weeks ago.

There’s only club wallpapers there at present, although I’m looking to create ones for players and national teams. So it should be a lot of fun. I already tried creating some wallpaper for my Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo sites, unfortunately they weren’t anything special. Of course, the next ones will be better!

New Cristiano Ronaldo site

Posted by Stevio in My Network on March 7th, 2008

After finishing creating a fan site for Wayne Rooney, I followed that up by building one for his Manchester United team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo.

I was always aware of what a very good player he is, after all, he is in my fantasy football team, and is doing very well too! But I guess with the negative aspects to his play - the diving and arrogance for example - I was never a fan of the Portuguese winger. However, now after building the site I have become more appreciative of his skills, and now I truly believe he is one of the world’s best players.

The funniest part of making the site was that I didn’t realise that Ronaldo had become such a ’sex symbol’. It seems he’s very much liked by the ladies, and even some of the men!

Wayne Rooney fan site launched

Posted by Stevio in My Network on March 2nd, 2008

Last year I sold WayneRooneyOnline.com. At the time I thought it was the right decision, as I lacked time to keep it up to date, plus it needed a lot of work, like a redesign, etc. Today though I’ve just finished working on a new low maintenance fan site for Wayne Rooney called WayneRooneyHQ.com and am quite pleased with the results.

Unfortunately the development of the site wasn’t smooth, as I first struggled to create a decent header and then browser problems with IE occurred. Thankfully I finally solved those problems and have now officially launched the site.

A couple of weeks ago I also snapped up another football website: XFootballWallpapers.com. It’s a website with loads of football wallpapers. I’m not familiar with the script, but it seems decent allowing new additions and editing. Sadly it looks like it needs some work, but I’ll get around to that as soon as I can.

I’m now planning on yet another project, hopefully it will be finished by the end of next week.
